Vickys Indigo - 1989 chestnut mare

Vicky is the mare that introduced us both to Morgans, and to the joys of riding a gaited horse. We bought her as a four-year old, knowing nothing about Morgans, and she has been an absolute pleasure to own ever since. She was one of my husband's principle field horses for years, and has logged hundreds of miles on pack trips and trail rides. She's a little unusual in that she is a gaited Morgan. In addition to the standard walk, trot, and canter, she has a strong stepping pace and running walk that make the miles go by. Vicky has produced two wonderful foals, Valverde Primero, and his carbon copy, Valverde Chinle.
