Primo was the first offspring of two of our favorite horses, Zarco and Vicky. He's growing up to be quite a horse, with his parents good looks, his mom's eager-to-please attitude, and a character all his own. The only thing he didn't get was his mother's single-footing gait, but his walk, trot, and canter are all comfortable and easy to ride. He's a clown, and always looking for something to do.

In addition to being a nice trail horse, Primo has shown some aptitude for dressage with his nice forward gaits and willing attitude. We showed this spring in Training Level and finished up with a couple of nice scores in First Level Tests 1 & 2. Then I got sick so Primo spent the summer on pasture. But next year, we'll be at it again.
